Ongoing Projects

  1. Modeling the potential impacts of dairy manure on water and soil of San Joaquin Valley
  2. Pathogen destruction challenge study on biofertilizers derived from food waste
  3. Modeling water balance and pathogen inactivation dynamics in anaerobic lagoon
  4. Modeling inactivation of pathogens in dairy manure using anaerobic and aerobic reactors
  5. Developing pathogen E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria monocytogenes assays in flushed dairy manure, compost piles, liquid slurry, and anaerobic lagoon
  6. Improving the composting efficiencies on poultry carcasses attached pathogen inactivation
